Description:
The Montefiore manor house is located close to the small town of Monsano and is set within a dominant rural position but is by no means in the middle of nowhere
as the town of Monsano is only 1.5km away, with Monte San Vito being only 4km away, therefore making all ones local amenities within a short drive from the property. For a more diverse collection of shops, restaurants and bars, the city of Jesi is only 6km away and this sophisticated and lively city offers much and will surely satiate individual needs. There are plenty of shops, services, cultural manifestations, sport infrastructures, cinema and theatres.
The international airport of Ancona Falconara is only 14km away, approximately 25 minutes drive again making Montefiore manore house and its apartments easily accessible.
The 115sqm apartment located on the ground floor of the house comprises of two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, one large and one smaller, a laundry room and a large open plan living/dining room and kitchen. From the living room, one can access the underground cellar, ideal for creating a wine store! It has direct access to its private garden and there are three private parking spaces for this apartment, one covered and two open. There is also a small outside storage shed.
The Montefiore manor house originally dates from the 1600's and is located within the beautiful natural landscape of Le Marche and has panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. From the property one can see, over the rolling green hills which depict the marchigana countryside, the beautiful and historic town of Monte San Vito and the smaller town of San Marcello. In all directions the views contains vineyards where the local wines of Verdicchio dei Castello di Jesi
and Lacrima di Morro d'Alba
are grown and only a further 20 minutes drive from the property one can find the beautiful sand beach of Senigallia or the dramatic beaches located within the Conero National Park with Monte Conero as the backdrop.
The large manor house is set within approximately 3800sqm of garden and land, containing both mature trees and a courtyard area. From the courtyard, access to the apartments will be gained and this is where the parking for the apartments, both covered and open, will be located.
The six apartments and the restoration of the manor house is still being carried out and all the apartments and external works will be completed to 100%, with the expected completion date being autumn of 2009. The manor house is being very sensitively restored and the materials and methods being used are authentic to the original date of the construction of the manor house with all materials being used, both externally and internally, are of the highest quality.
The internal finishings of the apartments can be chosen by the new owners, thus allowing one to personalise the apartment and put their own stamp on the finished look. As the apartments are still under the restoration process, it is very possible to combine more than one apartment into a larger house if desired.
My personal opinion: The restoration process of the manor house is especially interesting as it is an authentic, genuine and sensitive restoration. The stunning location of the house and apartments, close to towns, cities and the airport, makes them ideal for a holiday home with the added security of being in a condominum.
All the apartments, whether on the ground or first floor have a sense of privacy, all have alloted parking spaces and before the completion of the project one can personalise their apartment by choosing the fixtures and fitting. A great opportunity that should not be missed.
