The castle of Fosdinovo is the most photographed castle in Lunigiana, perched on a hill from which it dominates the whole wonderful landscape. Solid and imposing, the castle was raised in the 14th century, fortified during the following century and modified in the 16th century according to the elegant Renaissance style. The castle houses workshops, concerts and other cultural events and can easily be visited.
